HSE Emergency First Aid at Work Course
From 1st October 2009 there will be two levels of First Aider recognised by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE). These are First Aider at Work and Emergency First Aider at Work.
It is a requirement of the Health and Safety Law the employers should provide a safe and healthy environment for the employees. If the assessment of First Aid highlights the need for qualified First Aiders, then this course will provide you with suitable, highly trained personnel.
This comprehensive 1 day course covers a wide range of First Aid emergencies, enabling all participants to deal with an emergency situation with confidence in a prompt, safe and effective way. This KFA Medical course will give the participants a qualification to the highest level of First Aid, meeting the statuary requirements of the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.
All participants will be issued with an Emergency First Aid at Work certificate that is approved by the Health and Safety Executive. The qualification is valid for 3 years which can be renewed by attending a 1 day course.
