12 Hour Level 3 Paediatric First Aid Course

This two day course in Emergency First Aid has been developed for those who are responsible for the supervision of children and babies. This course is approved by OFSTED.

The aim of this course is to provide these persons with a sound knowledge and understanding of First Aid procedures when working with children and babies, along with the ability to recognise and treat many childhood conditions and illnesses.

Although the majority of First Aid procedures are similar to those used in adult First Aid, there are substantial differences in the protocols for resuscitation, choking, casualty handling and incident management.

Subject to on-going assessment and final exam, all delegates will receive a wall certificate. The course is valid for a period of 3 years.

This will be of particular interest to Child Minders and Creche Assistants, playgroup personnel and anyone responsible for youth organisations.

It is ideal for those who are responsible for the health and welfare of children and babies, and who wish to gain knowledge of emergency procedures and attain a recognised qualification in First Aid.
